The modern era has given birth to a fashionable society. Earlier in the 19th century, generally all the clothes were usually handmade or were made by the dressmakers or the tailors. By 20th century new technologies started taking its place and instruments like sewing machines became highly popular. Then slowly factory system of production started gaining its popularity. Clothes were earlier sold in small outlets but now there are huge departmental stores where the clothes sold to huge masses for fixed prices. The clothes are produced in standard sizes and therefore it becomes earlier for an individual to buy according to his or her convenience. Today the fashion industry is a globalized industry and the clothing process is bifurcated where it is designed at one country, manufactured in other and sold in almost all the countries of the world. Media also plays a very important role in updating the people about the latest trends in the fashion industry. Today one can find a complete page or at least an article about fashion in the magazines, newspaper and even many social sites. Not to forget about the fashion websites which are solely and wholly dedicated to providing in and out knowledge about fashion to the people? Fashion does not only comprise of clothing. But even accessories which matches the types of clothing, perfumes, hand bags, wallets, hairstyles etc makes up the fashion world. There is a channel also, called the Fashion Television which is an exclusive channel about fashion and its latest trends. Women love to wear fashion accessories matching their clothing. These accessories augment the appearance and beauty of any outfit or dress worn by a woman. It provides a kind of embellishment which adds a special touch and glow to a women's overall clothing and looks. Today men and women have become very brand conscious. Even pity things like hand bags are also preferred either designer made or branded. Now that the spring and summer has taken its place, men and women prefer more light weighted and bright clothes. Men prefer more spring shoes and snickers of varied colors. To give an additional touch to their beauty women prefer to use elements like red lipstick, shoulder touching earrings' and a bare back in order to look more Gordy.
