You can roll them up and put them in any suitcase or purse and easily pull it out to keep warm. Unlike a thick jacket that will take up a lot of space, the cashmere cardigan won't take up much space at all. Therefore, you can take it along very easily wherever you are and wherever you go. On the plane, it is particularly useful since it can get chillier up in the air. At night, it is great to put on when you are walking around outside. A cashmere cardigan is extremely warm for something that is so thin. This item is not so heavy. Cashmere is lightweight. However, the material is fantastic. It is something that keeps your body heat close to your body. Surprisingly, it doesn't have to be thick to be warm. You can buy very thin cashmere and still feel really warm, even though it is as light as cotton The Origins and Care of a Cashmere Cardigan A beautiful cashmere cardigan is well worth investing in and, if well looked after, will last you for years to come. We have largely got Coco Chanel to thank for today's famed cashmere cardigan. Along with Parisian Couturier Jean Patou she discovered that cashmere's weight and feel lent itself brilliantly to fashion garments. Cashmere wool is derived from the cashmere domestic goat. Most of the wool used to make cashmere garments today is from China and Mongolia, where breeders raise herds of cashmere goats in the Gobi Desert. The freezing night temperatures in this area (up to minus 40 degrees celsius) mean that these goats grow an incredibly soft inner hair which is six times finer than the hair of a human. This makes up one half of a double coat, and is mixed with a coarser and straighter outer layer of guard hair. This hair, once harvested, is separated by a mechanical process, known as de-hairing, after which the soft, fine hair is dyed and made into yarn for garments and fabric. High quality cashmere yarn and fabric is often hand-combed from the goat during moulting season when the goat is naturally shedding its winter coat, making the resulting garment a labour-intensive product, when the rearing and care of the animal is also taken into consideration. In some countries that produce cashmere, including Iran, Afghanistan, New Zealand and Australia, goats are usually shorn of their fleeces, which obtains a considerably lower pure cashmere yield. Cashmere goats raised in parts of the world such as Pakistan, India and Turkey tend to grow hair that is grey or brown and therefore not as sought-after, although garments fashioned from this cashmere can still prove costly due to the intensive labour still required to obtain the wool. When shopping for a cashmere cardigan, compare the feel of it with that of a fine wool sweater. It should feel much finer and softer. A quick quality check that's easy to perform is this: rub the palm of your hand over the garment. Should any of the fibre roll into tiny balls, forget it. This isn't quality cashmere. You can also try stretching the garment a bit and checking that it springs straight back into shape. If it doesn't, the garment could either be made from low-quality fibre, or else knitted with very loose tension, which is undesirable. Your cashmere cardigan should be treated with the upmost care in order to prolong its life. This means hand-washing only, and in cold or lukewarm water with a fine washable soap. Cashmere should never be wrung out or twisted to dry - simply use towels to dab and remove moisture and then leave to dry flat. Any woven cashmere garment should only be dry-cleaned. When it's dry, keep your garment folded on a shelf rather than hanging it on a coat hanger. Clean before storing to avoid enticing moths, and, if possible, seal in a garment bag to protect from moth damage. Following these simple rules should ensure that you and your cashmere cardigan have many happy years together To learn more about where to Cashmere Cardigans, visit our website at http://www.thecashmeregallery.com This article is copyright Source: http://www.articlealley.com/cashmere-cardigans--always-popular-and-in-demand-2431093.html

Know More About Business Suits for Men

By definition, a business suit is a suit worn while attending the workplace. A business suit has been the staple men's dress code at the workplace for more than one hundred years, and whilst seen by many to be somewhat conservative and uniform, the discerning modern business man chooses to add a little flair and individuality to their business suit by adding subtle styling options like coloured or patterned linings and peak lapels... and yes occasionally even a pocket square! Business suits for different occasions Most men own five to ten business suits for various situations. For example, it is not uncommon for somebody to own a various business suit for every of these occasions: • Interviews - We've all been through this... calm your nerves by searching your confident best • Client Meetings - 1st impressions count! • Everyday Workplace - needs to be comfortable and of long-lasting high quality • The Boardroom - Be remembered whenever you pitch your subsequent idea! • Making the Offer - Searching successful will get you half way there • Smart Casual - Many workplaces have casual Friday’s - why look drab whenever you can look fab in an open neck shirt, dark jeans and suit jacket? Off-the-rack vs. custom business suits for men Buying for a new business suit is frustrating. Rarely will you find an off-the-rack business suit that fits you. You may get lucky and find a business suit that is in a colour or fabric that you like, but finding one that’s got the proper styling and that fits you completely is definitely an elusive trifecta! Take a look around the city. Most men personal business suits that do not fit them. They're both too big, too tight, the sleeves are too lengthy, or the jacket will be the incorrect length. Custom business suits for men solve this issue for you (a.k.a. tailor made suits, made to measure suits). With custom tailoring, you are able to get the right fit, in the correct colour, styled the way in which you want it - all in the one location. The price of custom business suits is coming down all the time. Only a few years ago a custom business suit could easily cost you over $2,000, but with more and much more competition, it is not unusual to find great quality custom business suits for men around the $800 - $1,200 mark. Alternatively, for when only the very best will do, the uncompromising man may select to buy bespoke business suits. Bespoke suits have all of the benefits of custom business suits (styling, fabric, fit etc.), but have one distinct advantage - they are not made to a regular pattern, but rather are made to a pattern designed just for you. This of course comes with a hefty price tag. Finally, beware of purchasing custom business suits for men online, as whilst the price can be less expensive what you see is rarely what you receive! You will not get to touch and really feel the materials or view samples prior to purchase - and you'll not get the benefit of a styling expert helping you pick the right colour and fabrics for your unique physique form, personality, and occasion. Oh yeah - You'll also need to take your own measurements too. 2 piece business suits and 3 piece business suits The business suit is normally comprised of the Jacket and Trousers (i.e. a 2 Piece business suit). But in the event you want that sharp Wall Street look, try incorporating a Vest (waistcoat) to make a sophisticated three piece business suit ensemble. The Vest (Waistcoat) also comes in useful throughout the winter months when additional warmth about the chest is welcomed. The vest may also be worn separately outside from the office and more frequently than not, exactly the same Vest bought as part of a three Piece business suit, can easily make its way into a smart casual look. Merely put on the Vest on top of a crisp white shirt with dark jeans and black leather shoes. More and much more males are choosing the 3 Piece business suit due to this versatility. Business suits - Styling While numerous might say that business suit styling errs on the side of conservativeness and caution, you shouldn’t let that get you down. Certain it is a safe bet to possess a “standard” width lapel, on a “standard” fitting suit, with a dark coloured lining… but what does this look say about you? It probably says that you like to fit in and don't want to be noticed! It's quite simple to elevate the look of your subsequent business suit to match your ambition by merely going to get a slimmer fit, slimming down the lapels, adding a patterned or coloured lining and possibly even peak lapels (everyone else is always sporting notch!). Add handcraft stitching across the lapels and pockets and throw in some working jacket cuffs to get a touch of elegance and sophistication. And there you have it… a business suit that tends to make you stand out and get noticed (without being over the top). Business suits - Colour, Pattern & Material Darker colours like navy blues, charcoals and pinstriped or self-striped blacks are the most common colours for business suits and also you truly can’t go wrong with these choices. Nevertheless, there’s no need to feel restricted by just these colours. For bright, sunny spring and summer time days, feel free to lighten up the mood with lighter greys, lighter charcoals and of course French navy. As for fabric, it is essential to buy pure wool business suits for men which are made from Super 100s to Super 130s for the workplace as you’ll be wearing them a lot. The Super count refers to the thickness of the wool thread and also the higher the count the finer, lighter (and much more costly) the fabric will be. But don’t go too higher, as whilst wool marked as Super 150s and over is very luxurious and soft to the touch, it's susceptible to snagging and durability is usually not as great. Super 150s and over will be the realm of executive business suits and suits for unique occasions like wedding suits, dinner suits and evening jackets. Last word on business suits Ultimately, a business suit is really a functional garment and ought to be selected for durability, fit and quality 1st and style or brand 2nd. Nevertheless, embellishments can be additional like peak lapels, fancy linings, handcraft stitching and operating cuffs - all of that will add a touch of individual flair without looking ostentatious. The very best business suits for men are those that fit you completely, and let you operate at your confident best. Mark Johnsons is very passionate about Business Suits and has been writing arcticles on Suits for Men for nearly 2 years.
